Talk About The Magic - Encouragement and Inspiration with Disney Magic and more.

The Talk About the Magic Podcast focuses on sharing encouragement and inspiration to each listener. In 2014 host Joseph Ballesteros was deeply moved after visiting the Disney World park with his family. After returning home he was even more inspired by the story of the man who started it all, Walt Disney. Since then Joseph hopes to inspire and encourage others who may at times feel down and remind them that it was all started by a mouse. On the show, not only will you hear all the latest from Walt Disney company but also you will hear inspirational topics with Disney and more used as a reference.

In today's show, I talk with author Shannon about her two books, "Going To Disneyland" and "Going To Disney California Adventure." I'm excited to have Shannon on the show to share her journey of how she got from an idea to publishing two books! Here's a little more info about our wonderful guest Shannon. photo-slShannon W. Laskey writes, designs and illustrates the Going To Guide books which include "Going To Disneyland" and "Going To Disney California Adventure." She also runs a boutique graphic art studio called Small Dog Workshop. Shannon lives with her husband, two sons, two chickens and a leopard gecko in Northern California much, much too far away from Disneyland Resort. I hope you'll enjoy today's show. I know I received some amazing value from our new friend Shannon. In today's show, I wanted to share from a favorite book of mine called, "The Quotable Walt Disney". Failure is scary, ugly, and can seem overwhelming. I love this quote from Walt Disney because I really feel it explains how many of us need to think about failure. Here's what Walt says, screen-shot-2017-01-19-at-9-39-37-pm519za6jn8ul-_sx423_bo1204203200_519za6jn8ul-_sx423_bo1204203200_

For one thing it makes you aware that such a thing can happen to anybody, and once you've lived through the worst, you're never quite as vulernable afterwards."

I don't believe you have to necessarily have to be a young age to learn from a failure. What's most important is that you learn and understand it's a part of life. The good thing is you'll be prepared for whatever else may come your way.
